Method 1: Follow the Basic Troubleshooting Steps 

• step 1:  Ensure the printer cables are properly secured and tight. 
• step 2:  Try rebooting your computer and the printer.
• step 3:  Check that there is no paper jam in any part of the printer.
• step 4:  Ensure the printer status is online and is ready to print. 

Method 2: Disable “Use Printer Offline” and “Pause Printing” Option

• step 1:  Move to the search bar, type Run, and choose the relevant app. 
• step 2:  When the Run box opens, type the control panel and click on the OK. 
• step 3:  It will open the control panel window to choose “Devices and Printers.”
• step 4:  Find your printer, right-click it, and select “See what’s printing.”
• step 5:  In the new window, hit the Printer tab, and a drop-down list will appear
• step 6:  After that, uncheck “Use Printer Offline” and the “Pause Printing” option.

Method 3: Ensure the Print Spooler Start Type Is Automatic

• step 1:  Enter the “services.msc” command on the Run box and hit OK. 
• step 2:  In the new window, point to Print Spooler and right-click on it. 
• step 3:  Click on Restart or the Start option if the spooler is stopped. 
• step 4:  Again, right-click the Spooler option and select Properties. 
• step 5:  Ensure the spooler Startup Type is Automatic; if not, set it from the list. 
• step 6:  After setting it to Automatic, hit OK and click on the Apply button. 
• step 7:  Check the problem has been fixed and that the printer is usually working. 

Method 4: Delete All Spooler Files And Restart It

• Step 1:  Firstly, stop the spooler service from running on the system. 
• step 2:  Then, on the Run box, type C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers. 
• step 3:  Click the OK button, and it will navigate to the Printers folder. 
• step 4:  Select all the files in the Printers folder at once and delete them. 
• step 5:  Click Yes on the confirmation window that pops up on the screen. 
• step 6:  Again, restart the Spooler service by right-clicking on it. 
• step 7:  Finally, reboot the computer and the printer to apply changes.
