• The EIO-Jetdirect is the second configuration page.
• In the address field, enter the FTP address of the browser.

• Go to the command prompt window and enter “Bin.”
• Next, tap the Enter button.
• A message “200 Type set to I, Using binary mode to transfer files” will display.
• Enter “Filename,” and here file name is the name of the downloaded file (.RFU) file.
• Now, tap the Enter button, and a series of commands will prompt.
• Enter “bye” at the prompt and exit the FTP command.
• Then, enter the command “Exit” and go back to Windows.
• Wait for your printer to reboot automatically and activate the update.
• The download will start on your PC now.

• Enter “Bye” at the prompt and exit the FTP command.
• Now, enter “Exit” at the command prompt and return to the previous screen.
• Once the printer shows “Ready State,” print a configuration page.
• Verify the new Firmware that has been installed. 

Note: The procedure will take about 5 minutes. Until then, you should not interact with your PC and printer. Also, your printing system will automatically reboot once downloaded.
