Fujitsu Printer Issue

Apart from the common issues you can face in your Fujitsu printer, there are some other not-so-common but significant problems. These problems also need to be eliminated from the printer as soon as possible. So, here you will get to learn about some of the other major issues your printer can have and what is the best solution to those problems.

Issue: The last page does not eject from your Fujitsu printer

Cause: The print job is missing from the ‘form feed’ command.

Solutions:

Method A
  • First, you must open a web browser on your computer system and log in to NIC. (Remember, the web browser is the IP of the NIC.)
  • After that, click on the ‘configuration’ option and log in.
  • When you have to enter the username, type ‘root’ precisely as written in the quotes.
  • Next, you need to leave the password section blank.
  • Now, go to the ‘print model’ option and click on it.
  • Afterward, you need to verify the model. (Note- for port g100, ‘m1’ is the default mode.)
  • And then, from the drop-down list, choose the ‘form feed’ trailer.
  • Furthermore, go to the bottom of the page and then click on the ‘submit button.’
  • In the next step, select the ‘system’ menu option, which is located at the top of the page.
  • Finally, press the reboot button and click on the ‘Yes’ option to show that you are sure.
Method B
  • First of all, you need to open the telnet session with the help of NIC (Network Interface Card).
  • Next, you have to open the DOS window /or use the IP address of the NIC to run the telnet.
  • After that, type ‘root’ for the login name and leave the password section empty.
  • And then, click on the Enter key.
  • Afterward, you have to enter ‘list model m1’ to check the current trailer for model m1.
  • Moreover, to set a trailer of ‘form feed’ for model m1, you need to type ‘set model m1 trailer OXOC.’ (The numerical value of the form feeder character is called OXOC.
  • In the next step, you type ‘set model m1 trailer $FF’ as ‘form feed’ is defined as variable $FF too.
  • To clear the trailer of m1, you need to type ‘set model m1 trailer.’
  • When all the changes are done, enter ‘save.’
  • After that, you need to type ‘reset.’
  • In the last step, the NIC gets reset, and the printer will power cycle itself.

Issue: Getting TCP port busy error messages

Cause: Your Fujitsu printer requires to have the ‘PNE’ port option set to the ‘ethernet.’

Solution

  • Next, you must keep pressing the menu option until the ‘print management’ appears on the screen.
  • After that, move down to the bottom until you see the ‘PNE Port’ option.
  • Afterward, press the right arrow button until you come to see the ‘Ethernet’ option.
