Fujitsu Printer code Errors and Messages

Fujitsu printer error codes and messages are alerts or warnings that pop up when something goes wrong with the printer. These codes help you figure out what the problem is so you can fix it.

These are some signs of printer error codes and messages on a Fujitsu printer:

  • Text messages on the printer’s control panel.
  • The lights on the printer start blinking.
  • Your printer is making strange sounds.

Here are the most common reasons for printer error codes and messages:

  • Paper jam issues in the printer.
  • Ink or toner levels are low.
  • The printer head is clogged.
  • Printer drivers are outdated or incompatible.
  • Hardware issues in the printer.

The printer error codes and messages are a result of something wrong with the printer. There are plenty of ways to fix this issue and restart the printing process.

Fix 1: Power Cycle the Fujitsu Printer

When the printer is showing some error codes and messages, a simple power cycle can fix the error.

  1. Turn off the Fujitsu printer by pressing the power button, often located on the printer’s front side.
  2. Then, disconnect the power cable from the printer.
  3. Now, wait for 30 seconds, reconnect the printer to the power cable, and turn on the printer by pressing the power button.

Fix 2: Clean the Printhead

As the printer can show error codes and messages due to a clogged printhead, you can fix it by cleaning the print head thoroughly. Look at the steps below to clean it.

  1. Pull out the printhead from the printer by opening the printer covers.
  2. Then, remove the ink or debris from the printhead using a damp cloth.
  3. Now, follow this step 3-4 times until all the ink is removed from the print head.
  4. Let the print head become dry and place it back into the printer.

If this method doesn’t work, check out the next method.

Fix 3: Replace the Cartridges

When you see an error indicating low ink levels or empty cartridges, you must replace the old cartridges with the new ones.

  1. In the first step, check your printer’s control panel to see if it's showing low ink levels. If your printer has specific lights for ink levels, check them to see if they are blinking or off.
  2. Then, gently open the cartridge access door, which is usually located at the top or front of the printer.
  3. Now, remove the empty cartridge that your printer has displayed.
  4. Take the new cartridge and remove its packaging and adhesive tapes.
  5. Make sure that the labels on the cartridge and the slot in which you’re putting it match. Then, install the new cartridge into the right slot, and gently press it against the slot until you hear a clicking sound.

When the ink levels are low, your printer will display the low ink or toner levels on the screen. In this case, you need to replace those cartridges. Besides, when your printer prints low-quality, it also indicates low ink or toner levels. If multiple cartridges are empty, replace them with the new ones using the same method.

FAQs

Why is My Fujitsu Printer Showing Error Codes?

Your printer shows error codes for specific reasons. For instance, a paper jam, low ink levels, cartridge issues, or normal driver issues. Sometimes, it can also be due to a weak internet connection or some internal printer damage. Usually, the printer shows what is wrong with it. Otherwise, you can check its user manual.

To resolve a paper jam on your printer, you need to open your printer queue/tray and check for any obstructions in that. If you see any traces of paper, remove them with tweezers and clean the feed rollers with a damp cloth. Also, you need to install new, fresh papers in the print queue and close it.

If your printer shows low ink levels, you need to open the cartridge access door located at the top or front of the printer and remove the empty cartridge gently from the slot. After that, take the new cartridge and unpack it, and install it in the given slot until it fits completely into it. After that, repeat the same process with the other cartridge and close the access door. Now, you can try taking a test print, and the low ink level error will be gone.
