Panasonic Printer Job Stuck In Queue

A printer job stuck in a queue is one of the common problems of Panasonic printers. During this error, when you send a document to your printer to print, it will not print. And, you’ll see one of these errors on your printer’s display: “out of paper,” “Error Printing,” etc. In some cases, the printer shows the printing status but doesn’t print anything. When it happens, understand that your Panasonic print job is stuck in the queue. As this issue is quite common, you can fix it easily.

Solution 1: Restart the Printer

When your printer doesn’t respond to the print commands, you can restart it in the first step. To proceed with the restart, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the power button at the front of your Panasonic printer and let the light turn off.
  2. Now, unplug its power cable from the power outlet at the wall, and then wait for 1-2 minutes.
  3. After that, plug the power cable back into the power outlet at the wall.
  4. At last, press and hold the power button on the printer to turn it on.

After that, check if the printer is still not responding. If it isn’t, try the next method.

Solution 2: Clear the Print Queue

When your printer doesn’t respond to the print jobs, it is possible that the print queue is full. The print queue is all the files and documents that you send to your printer for printing. But if you oversend the documents, the print queue will hang, and printing will not happen then. Check how to clear the print queue.

  1. To start, press the Windows and R keys together to launch the Run box.
  2. When a box appears, type services.msc into it and press Enter.
  3. Now, the Services page will open. Scroll that page until you see the Print Spooler option.
  4. Once you see that option, right-click on it and choose Stop.
  5. After that, search for C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS under the “This PC” folder on your computer.
  6. When you see the pending documents, select them all by pressing Ctrl while selecting them all with the mouse or by pressing Ctrl + A.
  7. Then, right-click and select the Delete option.

You can also right-click on each document and select the delete option. If this method doesn’t make the printer print, check out the next method.

Solution 3: Delete the Stuck Files From the Command Prompt

This is another way of deleting the stuck files from the computer. Check how you can delete your files using Command Prompt.

  1. Go to the Windows Start button from the taskbar and search for the “Command Prompt” option.
  2. Then, right-click on this option and select the “Run as administrator” option.
  3. Now, a prompt will open asking you if you want to allow this option to make changes to your computer.
  4. Select Yes, and then a new window will open. In this new window, type

“net stop spooler

            del %systemroot%\System32\spool\printers\* /Q /F /S

            net start spooler.”

This way, all your print documents will be deleted. When the documents are deleted, try sending a document again to your printer and checking if the issue is fixed.

A print job stuck in the printer is nothing new. Many users face this issue occasionally. This problem happens when you oversend the documents for printing. But you can fix it with some basic troubleshooting methods, as stated above.
