Those issues are required to be solved immediately as they can lead your printer into a worse situation. But before trying to fix the issue, it is crucial to know the actual cause of the problem. Therefore, the following sections intend to provide the fundamental knowledge of the Panasonic printer's other issues and the best methods to get over them.

Cause -  The printer's ink cartridge is empty, or the scanner needs to be fixed.

  • The very first thing you need to follow is to inspect the ink level of your printer device. If there is no ink in the cartridge, then you need to refill it to the appropriate level.
  • First, you must remove the print cartridge from your Panasonic printer to do that.
  • After that, fill the ink in the cartridge and put it back in its place. Also, make sure that the printer's cartridge is set correctly.
  • However, if your printer is still facing the same issue, then, in this case, you have to follow the further steps.
  • Now, remove the printer's cover and inspect the inside to check if there is any problem inside or not. (See if the scanner's light is working properly and it is on.)
  • When you find the scanner running properly, try uninstalling the scanner software on your computer device.
  • In the next step, you have to download the scanner software again and install it on your PC/laptop.
  • In the last step, check whether the printer is working correctly or not.

Issue- Unusual noise coming out of your printer device.

Solution:

  • First of all, you have to figure out the exact place from where the noise is coming.
  • Afterward, remove the cover of the printer and look inside it to check for any problems.
  • Also, make sure that every component of the printer is appropriately set to its fixed place.
  • Check that the printer's roller is working fine and not damaged.
  • After that, you have to make sure that there is no scrap or debris inside the printer. (If you find dust or trash on any component, you should remove them using a clean cloth.
  • Now, put the printer's cover back into its place and shut it.
  • Lastly, run your printer again to check if the problem has been resolved or not.

Issue - The Panasonic printer is not printing even though there is no visible problem.

Cause - The printer is encountering some minor/or significant technical issues.

Solution:

  • When everything seems fine, but still the printer is not able to print, in this case, the first thing you should try is to restart the printer and computer device.
  • To restart both devices, you need to remove their cables from the power outlet. (Also, remove the printer's cord from the computer if you are using a wired printer.)
  • After that, keep both devices unplugged for one or two minutes.
  • In the next step, you are required to attach the printer and computer's cords to the electricity out.
  • Additionally, if you have a wired printer, then attach the cable of the printer to your PC or laptop.

How do you diagnose printer problems?

Below are some of the beneficial methods that are helpful in diagnosing the problem in your Panasonic printer.

  • Clear the print queue of the printer.
  • Restart your printer and computer device and re-establish the connection between them.
  • Set the Panasonic printer as your default printer.
  • Make sure that your printer is connected to the same network as your computer device.
  • Update the printer drivers of the printer.
  • Disconnect the printer and connect it again to your computer.

When the printer's printhead is clogged, it becomes difficult to print a copy of any document or perform any other activity. The printer's LCD screen is going to tell you when your printhead is clogged. Additionally, in most cases, the clogged printhead situation emerges when the ink cartridge of the printer is full and there is a problem with ink passing on the paper. Apart from that, if you see faded printing or blurry documents, then it is also a sign of a clogged printhead.

Follow the below steps to connect your wireless printer to a computer/laptop.

  • First and foremost, click on your Panasonic printer's 'Menu' option.
  • After that, you are required to tap on the 'Systems' option from the menu.
  • Now, go to the 'Admin' menu and tap on it.
  • When the Admin menu is open, you need to select the 'Network' option.
  • Afterward, look for the 'Wireless setup' option and click on it.
  • It will show all the available network connections for your device; select the one you want to establish a connection with.
  • And then, you need to type the password for that specific network connection.
  • Finally, print a test report to ensure that the printer is connected properly to the network or not.
