 Method 1: Restart the Print Spooler Service

  1. First of all, go to the keyboard, and click on the Windows logo button plus the R key at the same time to start the Run box.
  2. Under the Run tab, enter the services.msc and press the Enter button.
  3. After that, move down to the device Print Spooler.
  4. Now, right-click the Print Spooler and choose the Stop button.
  5. Next, move to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and remove all files in the folder.
  6. Under the Services tab, right-click the Print Spooler and choose the Start button.
  7. Lastly, move back to the device Print Job queue. All device print jobs should have been deleted now, and you can begin printing again normally.

Method 2: Clear the Print Queue Manually

  1. In the beginning, turn the printer device off.
  2. And then, press the Windows 10 search key in the taskbar.
  3. Now, enter the Services in the search box.
  4. And in the Services tab, move to the Print Spooler.
  5. Next, double-press the Print Spooler.
  6. In the tab, tap on the Stop key to easily turn off the Print Spooler.
  7. After that, go to File Explorer on your Windows 10 taskbar.
  8. Now, move to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS. You will get the folder that has a log of papers on the print queue.
  9. Next, click on the Ctrl button plus the A key on the keyboard to choose all the files in the folder. And then remove them.
  10. Now, go to the device Printer Spooler dialogue box again.
  11. Next, move to the Startup and then enter the drop-down menu. After that, choose Automatic.
  12. Tap on the Start key to switch the machine Printer Spooler on.
  13. Lastly, switch the Epson printer device on and then try to print a document or a file.
