  • Now, you have to open the 'Printer' or 'Printers and Faxes' window on your PC/laptop.

  • From the list of options, you have to choose 'Properties.'
  • Once the Properties tab is open on the screen, select the 'Ports' option.
  • Afterward, you need to open the printer's port by clicking on the 'Add port' option.
  • Next, you see various options on the screen; select the 'standard TCP/IP port' option.
  • And then click on the 'New port' option. It will open the Add Standard TCP/IP Port Wizard on the screen.
  • Now, click on the 'Next; option.
  • Moreover, you are required to move to the printer name section or IP Address section and enter the IP address of your printer device.
  • After that, a default port name will appear in the 'Port name section. (Also, you can create and edit the port name according to your preference.)

  • After that, go to the search section, type your printer's IP address, and press the Enter key. (It will open the CenterWare Internet Service tab.)
  • Now, in the CenterWare Internet Service tab, click on the 'Port' option.
  • Next, you need to go to the 'File Name' field and select the 'Windows' option.
  • Afterward, a file tab appears on the screen; choose the file.
  • And then, go to the file's place where it is going to be printed.
  • After that, you can click on the 'Open' option.
  • You can choose any setting from the given printing field at your convenience.
  • Then, you have to click on the 'Submit Job' option to add the print job for printing.

Method 4

  • For the first step, open the 'Start' menu and then click on the 'Services' option.
  • Now in the Services window, you need to approach the system admin and enter the password with his help.
  • Next, you need to select the 'Print Spooler Service' from the given options from the list.
  • And then, right-click on the print spooler option and then choose the 'Stop' option. (after selecting the 'Stop' option, it can take up to 30 seconds to stop the service.)
  • In the last step, close the service window and check if the printer problem has been fixed or not.

Method 5

  • In the beginning, you are required to simultaneously click on the Windows logo button and the R button.
  • Now, the above process will open the Run dialog box on the bottom left corner of a computer screen.
  • When the Run dialog box is open, go to the search section and type 'services.msc', then click on the Enter key or 'OK' option.
  • It will open the Services window and try to find the print spooler service option.
  • Once you locate the printer spooler, right-click on it and then click on the 'Stop' option.
  • Wait for a minimum of 30 seconds to let the print spooler service stop.
  • After that, you need to right-click on the print spooler service again.
  • Now, choose the 'Start' option.
  • Finally, you need to close the Services window.
