  6. Either the papers are not stacked correctly in the paper tray, or they are crumpled on either side.

Samsung Printer Job Stuck in Queue Solutions:

For Windows 11 OS

  • The first step is to open the ‘start’ menu and go to the ‘control panel.’
  • Then, choose ‘Devices and Printers’ from the various options. 
  • Now bring the cursor to the Samsung printer with the issue and right-click on it. 
  • After that, go to the ‘Port’ Window. (If the Port window appears grey, you might need to take the Admin’s help.)
  • Go to the ‘Configure Port’ option. 
  • If ‘Configure Port’ is in use, choose WSD port. Also, you can create TCP/IP if there is a need. 
  • When the protocol field appears, click on the ‘LPR’ option.
  • Now, enter the IP in the field ‘LPR Setting Queue Name.’ 
  • Make sure that the ‘LPR Byte Counting Enabled’ and ‘SNMP Status Enabled’ options is not selected or marked. 
  • Finally, press the ‘ok’ and then click on the close button. 

For Windows 10 OS

  • Firstly, you have to ensure that the printer has a valid IP address and that LPD is activated. 
  • For the further process, go to the control panel and look for the ‘printers/printers and faxes/devices and printers’ options. 
  • Afterward, go to the right printer icon, right-click on it, and choose the properties option.
  • In the properties tab, go to the Port tab
  • After that, select the TCP/IP ports from the various given options. 
  • Now choose the ‘New Port’ key option and add the ‘Standard TCP/IP’ Port’ screen will be open on the screen. 
  • Click on the ‘Next’ option on the screen. 
  • Afterward, you must enter the printer name and IP address in the options given. 
  • And then, you get to see a ‘Default Port’ name on the screen (i.e. IP_xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx).
  • Click on the ‘Next’ key and choose the ‘Finish’ option.

Fix Samsung Printer Job Stuck in Queue Issue For Mac OS

  • Press the right-click on the ‘Hard drive’ icon on the computer. 
  • Now double-click on the ‘Application’ folder. 
  • After that, double-click on the ‘Utilities’ option. 
  • Go to the ‘Network Utility’ folder by double-clicking on the network utility option. 
  • Then choose the ‘Ping option’ and the printer’s IP address in the given box. Also, select the network type. 
  • Afterward, choose the ‘Send only’ radio button. 
  • Finally, enter the ‘4’ in the given section and then click on the ‘Ping’ key.

How do I force my printer to clear the queue?

The below steps are going to help you clear the queue in your printer.

  • Open the start option by pressing the ‘Window’ logo key on your screen. 
  • And then, type ‘command prompt’ in the search box. 
  • When you see the command prompt app in the options, right-click on it
  • After that, select the ‘Run as Administrator’ option. 
  • Next, type ‘net stop spooler’ and press Enter button. 
  • And then type del ‘%systemroot%\System32\spool\printers\* /Q’ and hit the Enter key
  • Again type  ‘net stop spooler’ and press Enter. (This will clear the printer queue on your Windows)
  • Lastly, type ‘Exit’ and hit the Enter button to close the command window on your computer. 

Follow the below step if you want to stop/cancel the print job on your Windows OS-

  • Look or search the printer icon on your computer. 
  • After that, choose the ‘open all active printers’ option. 
  • Now locate the printer you are having issues with. 
  • When a new dialog box is open, choose the print job option you want to cancel.
  • At last, you have to click on the document option and then click on the ‘Cancel’ button.
