Samsung Printer not connecting to wifi

A Samsung printer connects to your home or office WiFi network for wireless printing. However, sometimes it fails to connect. And when it happens, the wireless light on the printer starts blinking, and the printer stops printing. It can happen when the network’s signal strength is not good or the WiFi password is incorrect. However, you can fix this issue with the help of these troubleshooting methods.

Step 1: Restart the Printer & WiFi Router

When the wireless connection fails in the printer, consider restarting your printer and the WiFi router. Check the steps below to learn how to do it.

  1. Power off the printer by pressing its power button.
  2. Remove the printer’s and router’s power cables from the main power switch.
  3. Now, keep them disconnected for 1-2 minutes and reconnect the power cable to the power switch on the wall.
  4. Finally, turn on the printer by pressing the power button.

Now, check if your printer connects to WiFi. If it is still not connecting, move on to the next step.

Step 2: Reconnect the Printer to WiFi

It is possible that an incorrect network password was entered in the printer. You can resolve it by reconnecting your Samsung printer to WiFi. Check how to do it:

  1. Click the Menu button on your printer’s Control Panel.
  2. Then press the arrow button on the Control Panel until you see the Network option, and press OK.
  3. Again, press the arrow button, go to the Wireless option, and press the OK button.
  4. Now, select the WLAN Settings using the arrow keys and press OK.
  5. Select the Wizard option and press OK.
  6. The printer will start scanning the nearby WiFi networks.
  7. When you see your network name on the display, press OK.
  8. Type the WPA key (network’s password) using the buttons on the Control Panel.

Ensure that you enter the password correctly. This is how you’ll reconnect your printer to WiFi. If the connection is successful, the wireless light on the printer will turn solid blue.
