XEROX Printer Code Errors and Messages


If your printer faces code errors and messages, you have to solve them as early as you do. Because there are various types of error codes and messages that damage your device very badly. Mentioned below are the causes and solutions of the most common error codes that users encounter nowadays.

Xerox Printer Error Code: 016-910 and 016-911:

Causes:

  • When the paper selected in the printer driver is not properly installed.
  • Maybe the paper is used for printing the document.

Solution:

  • First of all, fill the Needed Resources in Tray 1 or 2.
  • Firstly, move out the proper tray from the device. And then, take out the tray until it stops, move the front of the machine tray slightly, and now move it out.
  • After that, take out all the sheets from the tray.
  • Next, click on the document lift tray down at the back side of the document tray until it locks.
  • Now, set the paper width and length guides to the proper sheet size.
  • And then, fold the documents back and fan and forth, now align the points of the stack on a level surface. This process specifics any documents that are jammed together and reduces the possibility of getting stuck.
  • Next, fill the sheet into the tray.
  • After that, if the control panel pop-up, then inspects the type and size on display.
  • Then, you try the job again. If the issue still persists, move forward with the next step.
  • Now, you have to customize the Paper Tray Settings.
  • First of all, go to your printer control panel, and then click on the Home button.
  • And then, click on the Device and then go to the Paper Trays.
  • And then, in the Document Trays menu, click on the needed tray.
  • Now, to adjust the level of restrictions on the document tray, and then tap on the Tray Mode and then choose an option.
  • And then, hit on the Dedicated to dedicate the document tray for paper type, size, or color.
  • Next, to choose the paper or envelope size, click on the current size setting. And from the list, now choose the size.
  • Now, choose the paper type, and then press the current paper type. After that, from the list, and then, choose the document type.
  • And then, choose the paper color, and then click on the current document color. Now, from the list, choose the paper color.
  • Next, give permission to the printer device to choose which document tray to utilize for Auto Select, and then press the activate toggle key.
  • After that, choose a priority level for this document tray, for Priority, and then click the - or + to decrement or increment the number.
  • And to save the changes setting, now click on the OK button.
  • After the return to the Home display, click on the Home button.
  • Finally, try the job again. If the issue persists, then go with the next step.
  • After that, print a PDF as an Image File.
  • And then, make sure that the printer is switched on and connected.
  • Now, within the PDF file, you have to select the File and then click on the Print option.
  • After that, tap on Advanced, and then choose Print as Image.
  • Next, press the OK button to turn off the Advanced Print Setup dialog box, and then tap on the OK button to print.

Error Code: 7830, 7835, 7845 and 7855:

Causes:

  • Maybe the printer power cord is not connected properly.
  • Any network configuration exists on your printer device.
  • If you use the wrong type of paper.

Solution:

  • First of all, click on the Log In/Out key on the Control Panel.
  • And then, you have to Log in as the device Admin, and you also have to use the Default Username as admin and the Default Password as 1111.
  • Now, click on the [Machine Status] key on the Control Panel. And then, the Machine Status shown will be displayed.
  • After that, choose the [Tools] window on Touch Screen.
  • Now, choose the [Troubleshooting] key.
  • Next, choose the [Resets] key.
  • And then, choose the [Software Reset] key.
  • Now, choose [All Software].
  • And then click on the [Reset] button.
  • Finally, you need to press the [Reset] key on the Software Reset Confirmation display. Now, your printer will reboot.

Error Code: 027-452:

Cause:

  • Maybe your system has an IP misconfiguration.
  • It is also due to utilizing the printer with a Statically assigned IP address allocated in a  DHCP environment.

Solution:

  • In the beginning, Log into the device as a System Admin.
  • Initially, click on the Log In/Out key, which is given on the Control Panel.
  • Now, you have to type the System Admin username and then tap on the Enter button.
  • Next, you need to type the password of the System Admin and then tap on the Enter button.
  • Note: The admin is the default user, and the default password is 1111.
  • And then, you need to click on the Device Status key on the Control Panel.
  • Now, choose the Tools window on the Touch Screen.
  • After that, choose System Settings.
  • Next, click on the Connectivity and Network Setup.
  • And then, you are required to choose the Protocols Settings.
  • Now, choose the IPv4 Address Resolution; after that, choose the Change Settings key.
  • Next, choose the DHCP.
  • And then click on the Save option.
  • Finally, Log out. And a pop-up to reboot the device will be shown on your display. Reboot the device.

Error Code:  027-779:

Causes:

  • Maybe your device faces an authentication failure.
  • It is also due to the connection issue to the SMTP Server.
  • It is also because of the incorrect login username and password.

Solution:

For Windows OS:

  • In the beginning, go to the Start Menu.
  • Now, move to the Control Panel.
  • And then, jump to Programs that are given in the Category View.
  • Choose the Programs and Features.
  • Now, choose Turn Windows Features Off or On.
  • After that, inspect the Box that is marked Telnet Client. Choose the OK option.
  • Turn off the Programs and Features tab.
  • Now, go to the Start Menu.
  • And enter the CMD into the given Search Box.
  • Next, you need to choose the CMD.exe or Command Prompt.
  • And enter the TELNET and tap on the Enter button.
  • Now, enter the command open and click on the Enter button. (ie: open smtp.gmail.com 25)
  • Next, enter the elho and tap on the Enter button. (ie: ehlo gmail.com)
  • Now, you have to utilize the command helo instead if the server returns an error with the ehlo command.
  • And then, enter the mail from: and then click on the Enter button.
  • Now, enter the rcpt to: and tap on the Enter button.
  • Next, enter the data and tap on the Enter button.
  • After that, enter the subject: and press the Enter button. (ie: subject:Test)
  • And then, type the text message for the Email to be sent.
  • Now, enter a single period (.) on a given blank line, followed by tapping on the Enter to end the message. (ie: .)
  • Finally, enter the quit and click on the Enter button to disconnect it from the Mail Server.

For Mac OS:

  • First of all, go to the Finder.
  • Now, choose the Applications.
  • Next, you have to choose the Utility option.
  • And then choose the Terminal option.
  • After that, enter the Telnet and click on the Return button. (ie: Telnet smtp.gmail.com 25)
  • Now, enter the elho and tap on the Enter. (ie: ehlo gmail.com)
  • Next, you have to utilize the command helo instead if the server returns a problem with the ehlo command.
  • After that, enter the mail from: and tap on the Enter button.
  • Now, enter the rcpt to: and tap on the Enter button.
