Resolve Xerox Printer in Error State Problem for Windows 11 OS:

  • First and foremost, you have to right-tap the Start Menu key, and you have to choose the Device Manager from the given list.
  • And then, move down and then increase the Print Queues menu.
  • After that, you have to right-tap on the Microsoft Print to PDF and then choose the Update driver. And this pop-up will open another tab.
  • Now, you have to choose the automatically Search for updated driver software in Windows 11 and start a verification through your computer system for updates.
  • After that, right-press the Microsoft Print to PDF and then choose the Properties from the scroll-down menu.
  • Next, move to the Details panel.
  • Then, choose the Device instance location from the scroll-down list in the Property. After that, copy the Value that was prompted.
  • Now, move to the database of Driver Pack.
  • Finally, you have to paste the copied amount into the given search box, and then you need to download a compatible driver. After that, install it on your device.

For Windows 10 OS:

  • In the beginning, hit the Windows logo button plus the R key to start the Run dialogue box.
  • And then, enter the "services.msc" and tap on the enter button.
  • Now, under the services window, search the Print spooler and then double-tap on it.
  • Next, move forward by just pressing the Stop button.
  • After that, you have to go through the location C:\Windows\system32\spoolsv.exe and remove all the files that are given under the folder.
  • Then, all you need to do is just move back to the Services tab and manually begin the printer spooler service again.
  • Finally, you have to restart the computer system.

Fix Xerox Printer in Error State Issue For Mac OS:

  • In the beginning, tap on the Apple menu icon; after that, press System Preferences.
  • And then tap on the Print and Fax or Print and Scan / Printers and Scanner.
  • Now, you have to create a note of the devices you require to install. You may need to turn on each one and write down the name, queue, and driver utilized, as you might require to mention that information later.
  • Next, right-tap on the empty field in the provided Printers list; after that, tap on the Reset printing system.
  • After that, click on the Reset button in the confirmation tab.
