XEROX Printer Job Stuck In Queue


One of the most frustrating problems is the Xerox printer job stuck in the queue. Many of the users do not know how to solve it. There are various types of reasons why this problem has come to your device. If you also face the same problem, then follow the mentioned steps to fix this easily.

Causes:

  • If you have an outdated or faulty printer driver, it leads to the job being stuck in the queue.
  • It is also due to having the old papers that failed to print for one reason.
  • Maybe this issue has come to your device because of a software problem.
  • If the paper is low quality or folded anywhere, then it leads to this problem.

Solutions:

Fix Xerox printer job stuck in the Queue for Windows 11/10

  • First of all, go to the Start Menu.
  • And then, enter the Control Panel into the given Search section and then click on Enter button.
  • Now, you have to choose the Devices and Printers.
  • Next, you need to right-tap on the needed Xerox printer.
  • After that, choose the Ports window.
  • Note: If your contents of the Ports window are grayed out, then Admin assistance may be needed. You have to contact a System Admin.
  • And then, you have to choose the Configure Port.
  • Note: If your Configure Port tab is grayed out, an additional port type may be utilized, just like a WSD Port. If a WSD port is in utilize, then make a New TCP/IP Port.
  • Now, choose the LPR in the Protocol field.
  • And then, type the lp into the provided LPR Settings Queue Name section.
  • And then, untick the box which is given next to LPR Byte Counting Enabled if chosen.
  • After that, untick the box next to SNMP Status Enabled if chosen.
  • Now, choose the OK button.
  • Finally, click on the Close button.

Resolve printer job stuck in the queue for Mac OS:

  • In the beginning, right-tap on the [Hard Drive] icon.
  • And then, double-tap on the option of the [Applications] folder.
  • Now, double-tap on the [Utilities] folder.
  • Next, you have to double-tap on the [Network Utility] icon to open the Network Utility program.
  • After that, tap on the [Ping] window.
  • And then, you are required to type the IP address of the printer in the given box. And please type the network address to the ping section.
  • Now, tap on the [Send only] radio key.
  • And then, enter the (4) in the section given.
  • Finally, tap on the [Ping] key.
