Xerox printer Setup for Windows 11 OS:

  • First of all, go to the keyboard and click on the Windows logo button and the R key to start the Run dialog.
  • And then, under the Run dialog, you have to enter the devmgmt.msc and press the OK button.
  • And when the Device Manager window is open, then you have to increase the Printers field. Now, right-press the printer and then choose the Update driver.
  • After that, when the Update Drivers wizard shows on your screen, you have to choose the option of Browse my PC for drivers. Afterward, go through the pop-up instructions to easily install the driver you downloaded on the device.
  • Lastly, if it doesn’t work properly, restart the update wizard tab, but now you have to select the Search automatically option for drivers. And then, go through the prompt wizard’s instructions if it discovers a driver update.

For Windows 10 OS:

  • First and foremost, you have to press the Windows logo key and the R button to go to the Run dialogue box.
  • And then, enter the " services.msc" and tap on the enter button.
  • After that, under the services tab, you have to search for the Print spooler and double-tap on it.
  • Now, move forward by tapping on the Stop key.
  • After that, go through the path C:\Windows\system32\spoolsv.exe and then remove all the files which are given under this folder.
  • And then, all you need to do is move back to the Services tab and manually begin the print spooler service again.
  • Finally, you require to restart the computer system.

Xerox Printer Setup For Mac OS:

  1. First and foremost, you have to go to support.xerox.com.
  2. And then, enter the mode or version of the printer device in the given search section (e.g. AltaLink C8055), and you simply have to complete the search process.
  3. After that, you need to choose the "Drivers and Downloads" window.
  4. Now, if it is essential, refine the search by choosing the model in the box of the "Product/Model." 
  5. Next, select the search result, which starts with the "Drivers and Downloads."
