As a beginner, setting up a Panasonic printer by yourself can be a little tricky. Especially when you’re not tech-savvy, the setup process feels like climbing a mountain. But, in reality, it is very simple if you know the right steps. Panasonic printers are capable of both wired and wireless printing. Therefore, you can choose either method. 

Method 1: Wired Connection (USB)

If you want to connect your Panasonic printer to a computer via USB connection, check out the steps below: 

1. First of all, take a USB cable from the box of your Panasonic printer. 
2. Then, connect one end of the cable to the USB port of your printer. 
3. Now, connect the other end to the USB port of your computer. 

Then, your computer will recognize your printer as the connected device. It will also start downloading the printer drivers. But you can download these drivers manually too. 

Method 2: Wireless Connection 

A wireless connection is mostly preferred for printers as it doesn’t require any cables.

1. Go to the Menu on your Panasonic printer via buttons or the touchscreen. 
2. Then, navigate to the Network Settings and click the WiFi Setup/Wireless LAN option. 
3. Now, click the Setup Wizard option and enter your username and password. (Note: You can check the network details on the back or sides of your wireless router.) 
4. Enter the details such as SSID (network name) and password for the network. 

Let your Panasonic printer recognize your wireless network and connect to it. You can check the connection by taking a test print. 

How to Take a Test Print?

1. Open any document or photo on your computer. 
2. Then, press Ctrl + P on your keyboard or right-click and select the print option on the screen. 
3. Select your Panasonic printer from the list of devices. 

Then, the printer will take a test print.
