Solution 1: Unlock the Print Head Bay Cover, Then Turn On the Printer 

Sometimes, a temporary issue restricts the printer from communicating with its crucial hardware modules. When you power on the printer while keeping the cover open, it may help resolve the problem. Read the following instructions to fix it. 

• Turn off the printer and open the Print Head Bay cover. Do not take out the cartridges or close the cover.
• Switch on the printer and let the cartridge move halfway to the left side of the printer.  
• Before it reaches the left corner completely, close the cover and let it be on the power-on mode.
• Verify if the error code is still visible on the screen. If not, repeat the above steps.
• This time, check whether the printer's copy or scan function fixes the error or not.
• If it still does not work, bring the printer near the router and resolve the issue. Follow this step if you have a wireless printer. Sometimes, a low WiFi signal causes the problem. 

Solution 2: Execute the Cold Restart of the Printer

When the current data of the printer fails to recognize the presence of its important hardware components, you may experience a B200 printer error. In this case, a cold restart may help fix the problem and lets the printer start processing with its initial values. Follow the below steps to perform it.

• Turn the printer off and disconnect its power cable from the wall socket. 
  
   
• Wait a few minutes, then connect the printer to the power source again.
• Now, switch on the printer and check whether the problem is fixed or not.
• If not, repeat the first step. Then, push the printer's Power button and hold it for 30 seconds.   

• While holding the printer's power button, insert the power cable back into the printer.
• Keep holding the printer's power button for another 30 seconds. While keeping it pressed, push the feed button and hold it for 30 seconds.
• Leave both the feed and the power buttons. When the printer gets on, inspect if it is working correctly. 

Solution 3: Delete the Printer Driver and Reinstall It

• First, download the latest driver of your printer model from the Canon official site.
• Then, right-click the Windows button and choose the Apps & Features option.
• After that, expand the printer option and click on the Uninstall button.
• Confirm the uninstallation of the printer driver and follow the onscreen instructions for the same.

• After that, reboot the system and let it restart completely. Now, right-click the Windows icon.
• Open Settings and navigate to the Bluetooth and Devices tab from the left panel of the Settings window. 

• Click on the Printers and Scanners option and select your problematic Canon printer.
• Now, on the right side of your printer name, click Remove and confirm the removal.
• Click the back button, and under Related Settings, open the Print Server Properties window.
• On the Drivers tab, select your printer and click Remove. Now, choose “Remove driver and driver package.”

• Again, right-click the Windows icon and choose Device Manager. Now, click the View menu and select "Show hidden devices."
• Under Printers, right-click on your printer and choose the Uninstall Device option.
• If prompted, checkmark the option "Attempt to Remove the Driver for this Device."
• Click Uninstall to start the removal process, then reboot the printer and the system.
• After the restart, reinstall the printer driver as an administrator. And check if the problem is fixed.
• If not, turn off the printer and wait for some minutes. With the printer off, print from the connected device.
• When the printer is offline message appears; click Resume. Now, switch on the printer and verify if the error persists.
