Kyocera Printer not printing

You do not need to panic if you see your Kyocera Printer not printing the copies. It is a common issue users face. However, knowing the right cause and the solution can fix this issue in no time. Hence, this specific write-up will help you learn the root cause and solutions to not printing issues.

Causes

Some of the major reasons why Kyocera printers fail to print are-

  • No ink/toner on the cartridge, or there is some problem with the cartridge.
  • The stacking of the papers is not done in the correct manner
  • The printer drivers are outdated
  • The printer is having some internal issues.

Solution 1: Refill the ink/toner in the cartridge.

  • Firstly, to refill the bottle with the toner and the ink, you have to remove the cartridge.
  • Now, take the ink bottle and remove the funnel of the bottle with the right screwdriver.
  • After that, fill the appropriate amount of the ink/toner in the bottle.
  • Close the funnel and keep the bottle back on the printer.

Solution 2 Clean your Kyocera printer carefully.

  • Below are the stepwise instructions to help you clean the Kyocera Printers.
  • First, open the cover of the printer. The position of the cover can vary from one model to another model of the printer (usually on the top or the side).
  • After removing the cover, clear the dust and scrap if you see any.
  • Wipe the drum of the printer with a clean piece of cloth if it is removable in your computer. Plus, make sure not to keep the drum in direct light for more than five minutes.
  • The next part is to remove all the debris you find on the paper tray.
  • Also, clear the dirt from the roller and any other visible internal parts of the computer.
  • When everything is all cleaned up, you can run the printer for printing.

Solution 3: Check if the papers are adequately stacked in the paper tray.

  • Look if the papers in the printer tray are placed in the right way.
  • The papers are the same size as your Kyocera printer is compatible with.
  • Make sure the papers do not fold from any sides.
  • Additionally, check whether the paper tray is appropriately set in the printer or not.

Solution 4: Troubleshoot the printer.

  • First, go to the start menu or tap the Window key on your keyboard.
  • Search the 'setting' option and double-click once you find it.
  • Next, in the setting search box, type 'printer and scanner' and click on it.
  • Now you see the 'Run the troubleshooter' in the 'Related Settings' field.
  • Once you click on the 'Run the troubleshooter' options, wait for further instructions and follow the steps you see on the screen.
  • When the troubleshooting is done, reboot the PC and check if the printer is working again or not.
