Method 1: Check Connection 

• Step 1: If you’re using a USB cable, check if the cable is properly connected.
• Step 2: Reconnect the cable to make sure that they are properly seated. 
• Step 3: If you’re using a Network printer, check the network connection. 
• Step 4: Try reconnecting the printer to the network, if required. 
• Step 5: If you connect the printer via Bluetooth, make sure that the printer is close enough to your PC.

Method 2: Update Printer Driver:

• Step 1: Click on the Windows icon and type in Device Manager in the search bar. 
• Step 2: Open the Device Manager and click on Printers. 
• Step 3: Right-click on your Lexmark printer from the list and click on Update Driver. 
• Step 4: In the Update Drivers window, select Search automatically for drivers. 
• Step 5: Your system will find the latest driver, so follow the on-screen prompt to update it. 
• Step 6: Once the driver is updated, restart your computer.

Method 3: Restart Print Spooler:

• Step 1: Press on Windows + R keys at the same time to open the Run command. 
• Step 2: Type in services.msc and press on OK. 
• Step 3: Locate Print Spooler from the list and right-click on it. 
• Step 4: Next, select Restart.

Method 4: Run Printer Troubleshooter:

• Step 1: Go to Settings from Windows. 
• Step 2: Under System, navigate to Troubleshoot and click on it. 
• Step 3: Next, select Other Troubleshooters. 
• Step 4: Under the Most Frequent section, click on the Run button for the Printer. 
• Step 5: Select your printer and click on Next to proceed.

Method 5: Reset Your Printer:

• Step 1: First, turn off the printer from the switch on the side. 
• Step 2: Press and hold the 2 + 6 keys at the same time until the configuration menu appears. 
• Step 3: Scroll down and press Reset Factory Default. 
• Step 4: Next, select Out Of Service Erase. 
• Step 5: Then press Erase Memory, and click on Yes in the prompt.
