Samsung Printer Paper Jam

Whether it is Samsung or any other printer, It is common to receive paper jam issues. It indicates that the paper is stuck inside the printer because of some physical or software issue. In order to resolve it, you must remove the paper jam by following a set of suitable procedures.

Causes

A paper jam problem can be an outcome of a variety of reasons. Some of them include-

• Incorrect placement of the paper.
• Broken paper feed rollers.
• Low-quality or incompatible paper.
• Poor-quality printer cartridges.
• Drivers are out-of-date or not suitable.

Solutions to Resolve the Samsung Printer Paper Jam Problem

Solution 1: Clear the paper jam in the tray

• Take out the printer paper tray.
• If the paper jam is visible, carefully pull it straight out.
• Once the paper is cleared, close the printer’s tray1.

Solution 2: Clear the jammed paper from the exit area of the printer

• Pull the printer’s rear cover to open it.
• Pull the jammed paper straight out of the printer if any is visible.
• After removing the jammed paper, close the optional tray.

Solution 3: Remove the jammed paper in the manual feeder tray

• Open the manual feeder or the multi-purpose tray.
• Carefully take out the jammed paper inside the tray.
• After clearing the jammed paper, close the manual feeder tray.

Solution 4: Clear the Jam Inside the Printer

• Open the right door of the printer.
• If any jammed paper is visible, pull it straight out of the printer.
• Now, close the printer’s right door once removing the paper jam.
